Key Responsibilities
- Supervise frontline team members and assign work duties.
- Manage slot machine reservations and promote casino initiatives.
- Coach and mentor employees and create an engaging work environment.
- Manage schedules as required.
- Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures and/or provincial lottery/ gaming policies and procedures.
- Manage or report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary.
- Acquire and maintain a knowledge of all slot operations policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
- Maintain knowledge of all slot operations policies and procedures.
- Coach and mentor employees and create an engaging work environment.
What You Bring
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in casino/ hospitality industry preferred.
- One year experience as a Slot Attendant an asset.
- Post-secondary education or a combination of education and experience an asset.
- Experience handling cash and working with the public.
- Serving It Right certificate.
- Superior customer service and people management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to qualify for a GPEB license.
- Ability to complete training required by regulators.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- A willingness to develop new skills and stay on top of the latest industry news and insights.
