Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial performance of operations to pre-approved targets and budgets.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of local markets and implement initiatives to expand market share.
  • Manage all cost elements within the departments, including labour.
  • Manage recruitment, training and staff development, and enhances the strength and effectiveness of the management team.
  • Develop and implement initiatives and promotional activities through gaming, restaurant, and other elements to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute promotional plans and maximize customer traffic.
  • Lead best practice implementation within all casino operations.
  • Collaborate with corporate specialists, implement strategic initiatives.
  • Steer customer service training and guide managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Liaise with gaming regulators and facility management to ensure operations are compliant and maintained.
  • When required, acts as a Shift Manager and performs other administrative duties.

 

What You Bring

  • Two years of experience in a management role.
  • Leadership experience in the hospitality, customer service, or food and beverage industry preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce, hospitality, or related field.
  • Ability to lead operational change and manage issues as they arise.
  • Experience in gaming management operations is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to write external submissions.
  • A collaborative approach to leadership.
  • Adept at Microsoft Office applications.
  • A willingness to work reasonable overtime as required.
