Summary
This position is primarily responsible for supporting assigned chapters in areas of recruitment, finance, chapter leadership and education on Gamma Phi Beta policies and procedures. This position may also support extension and establishment of new chapters.
Responsibilities
- Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Act as an onsite international Gamma Phi Beta representative for established and new collegiate chapters and their members.
- Actively identify potential new members and recruit through primary and extension recruitment and continuous open bidding (COB).
- Assist in the logistical execution of extension recruitment, including but not limited to tabling, cold calling, individual potential new member meetings, extension recruitment rounds, COB, etc., as necessary.
- Partner with volunteer leaders and professional staff to support assigned collegiate chapters.
- Support positive public relations between international Gamma Phi Beta, collegiate chapters, campuses and greater community.
- Coordinate effective, creative training and guidance for chapter collegiate officers, including but not limited to goal setting, facilitating workshops, distributing resource materials, etc.
- Help chapters in assessing areas of risk management and prevention education in relation to safety and health as well as legal and regulatory compliance related to hazing prevention education.
- Support financial management activities of assigned chapters.
- Partner with and utilize Gamma Phi Beta staff, volunteer leaders, chapter advisors and/or other advisory board members on chapter support measures.
- Participate in consultant training and debriefings.
- Perform administrative duties including:
- Tracking and updating Beta Base and Chapter Builder, weekly reports to chapter services manager and event details.
- Submitting expense reports with receipts and timecards to IH at appropriate deadlines.
- Completion of all reporting requirements by deadline.
- Establish and maintain relationships with campus fraternity/sorority advisor(s) to foster communication between headquarters, university and chapter.
- Utilize social media, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, etc., appropriately to communicate effectively with collegians, advisors and volunteers as needed and as directed by staff.
- Publicize CLC position and identify future candidates.
- Complete online training modules in Fidelity, as assigned.
- Attend weekly meetings with the CLC Program manager and CLC team.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Leadership experience in sorority, Panhellenic or other student organizations preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software (Excel); word processing software (Word); electronic mail software (Outlook); database software (iMIS); presentation software (PowerPoint); project management software.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to participate in evening and/or weekend conference calls and meetings.
- Gamma Phi Beta member or fraternity/sorority membership preferred.
- Understanding of nonprofit organizations and volunteer management a plus.

Location
This position will be based at an assigned chapter location in Ohio, Kentucky or South Carolina. The assigned chapter location may change during the CLC term. This position may require limited regional travel to different collegiate chapters as directed based on Sorority needs. Room and board while on a location-based assignment are covered. Short term remote work may occur over university breaks.Benefits
