Purpose 
Under the supervision of the Scholarship Committee Chair, the Foundation Scholarship Evaluator is entrusted with scoring the fellowship and scholarship applications. We are seeking individuals who have a love of Gamma Phi Beta and an understanding of the challenges and goals of its collegiate members in terms of financial and personal need as well as career growth. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Register for and participate in a training session to learn how to use the SmarterSelect software. 
  • Use the SmarterSelect software to review and assess scholarship and fellowship applications for merit and need. 
  • Review and score up to 20 applications in a one-month period. This should take approximately five to 10 hours. 
 
Expectations 
  • Member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. 
  • Ability to learn and use online software and application systems. 
  • Be a member in good standing by paying annual international alumnae dues or being a Life Loyal member.
