Purpose 

The alumnae chapter compliance specialist is responsible for overseeing the alumnae chapter's good standing program and creating resources related to the compliance of alumnae chapters. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Work with alumnae chapter leaders and their assigned alumnae chapter supervisor to ensure compliance with Gamma Phi Beta's good standing program.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and reporting for alumnae chapters. 
  • Review and develop resources pertaining to alumnae chapter compliance. 
  • Oversee alumnae chapter good standing in accordance with Gamma Phi Beta policies to ensure that alumnae chapters understand deadlines and expectations. 
  • Work with alumnae chapter supervisors to identify chapters that are not in good standing and determine if support is appropriate and or necessary for the identified alumnae chapter(s). 
  • With assistance from the alumnae chapter supervisor team, assign good standing status to each alumnae chapter on an annual basis and report to the alumnae chapter team leader.
  • Provide an annual report, following the conclusion of the alumnae chapter's good standing submission, to the alumnae chapter team leader and the director of alumnae engagement.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to the Sorority’s international Bylaws, rules and procedures, Alumnae Chapter Operations Manual and all other relevant materials/resources.  
    Expectations 
    • This role requires two to three hours per week, on average.
    • Volunteers in this role will be expected to travel three to five days per year, as necessary or required 
    • Complete all assigned Fidelity volunteer online lessons within four weeks of appointment and have subsequent training conversations with alumnae chapter team leader within six weeks of appointment. Learn and use Beta Base, the chapter reporting system.
    • Participate in annual alumnae team meeting monthly team calls and monthly one-one-ones with the alumnae chapter team leader.
    • Respond to all communication within 48 hours.
    • Be in good standing by paying annual international alumnae dues or being a Life Loyal member.
