The role:

As a Software Technical Analyst, you will become a Galileo Systems specialist and be an integral part of the technical team who excels in analyzing and setting up initial and future API configurations for clients so that they can leverage Galileo’s industry leading offerings to the fullest extent.

What you’ll do: 

  • Define and implement technical solutions to improve client setup and satisfaction

  • Maintain an understanding of the Galileo platform and technical components, including technical data model, applications, integration between components with upstream and downstream processes

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to understand business requirements in order to translate them into technical configuration changes on the Galileo platform

  • Work closely with customer facing teams to help speed up client acquisition and onboarding functions while improving client satisfaction scores

  • Design and implement technical solutions to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring quality, scalability and timely delivery

  • Collect and document new features and capabilities, and share and improve knowledge.

  • Establish and maintain positive communication and professional relationships with internal/external customers, and team members

  • Stay current on Galileo functionality, best practices, product roadmaps and innovations

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in Information Technology

  • Bachelor' s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Business Management, Finance, or equivalent

  • Exceptional work ethic with strong sense of ownership, love of learning, and personal integrity

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with business stakeholders and project team to design and deliver solutions with attention to details

  • Passionate team player with positive and can-do attitude towards everyday challenges

  • Ability and desire to automate any and all manual processes in a project

  • Experience with Unix/Linux , SQL, JIRA/Confluence is a major plus

  • Financial industry experience is a plus
