Compensation: $19–$22 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonus opportunities
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evening events

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a creative, energetic, and outgoing Activities Director to plan and coordinate engaging resident activities at Country Club at The Meadows, an active 55+ apartment community in Las Vegas.
This is an independent senior living community, NOT an assisted living facility.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, planning events, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere. You'll be joining a supportive team with long-term employees and a great work-family culture.
What You'll Do

  • Plan and coordinate social, cultural, and recreational activities for active 55+ residents

  • Organize resident lunches, parties, holiday celebrations, and special events

  • Prepare and serve resident lunches and refreshments

  • Create monthly activity calendars, flyers, and promotional materials

  • Build relationships with residents and encourage participation

  • Coordinate vendors, entertainers, caterers, and volunteers

  • Manage activity budgets, supplies, and event expenses

  • Develop creative ideas to keep residents engaged and connected

  • Provide exceptional customer service with a positive, upbeat attitude

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience working with active seniors

  • Experience planning events, activities, or recreational programs

  • Comfortable preparing and coordinating meals for resident gatherings

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong people skills

  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for bringing people together

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
