Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at Saxony at Chase Oaks Apartments in Plano, TX.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading the maintenance team, troubleshooting repairs, managing apartment turns and preventative maintenance, and keeping the community operating at a high standard.
What You'll Do
Lead daily maintenance operations and supervise the maintenance team
Diagnose HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues
Prioritize service requests and ensure quality, timely completion
Oversee apartment turns, inspections, and preventative maintenance
Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
Maintain buildings, amenities, grounds, and common areas
Coordinate vendors and contractors
Manage inventory, supplies, and maintenance expenses
Provide professional service to residents
Participate in the rotational on-call schedule
What We're Looking For
HVAC Certification required
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification required
3+ years of multifamily maintenance experience
Maintenance leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repair skills
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Dependability, initiative, and attention to detail
Valid driver's license
