Position: Apartment Make Ready       

We seek a Plano, Texas-based Make Ready to join our team at Bentley Place Apartments.

We have a maintenance training facility and will train. We are seeking career-minded candidates.
         

Your role is to prepare vacant apartments for rent and perform simple maintenance while delivering excellent customer service to our residents.

Compensation: Hourly rate (based on work history), plus monthly performance bonuses.      

What You Will Do:         

  • Thoroughly complete make-ready units on time.
  • Utilize your general maintenance skills to complete quality service work orders efficiently.
  • Proactively service the community pool.
  • Collaborate with team members for ideas and solutions.
  • Assist with grounds and maintain a pleasing curb appeal.
  • Openly communicate with maintenance and office teams.
  • Assist residents with helpful, caring customer service.
  • Promote a pleasant work environment for coworkers and guests.
  • Be dependable when scheduled for rotational on-call emergency duty - when applicable.

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have some maintenance/make-ready experience/knowledge in multifamily housing, plus the following credentials/skills:
         

  • Valid driver's license (required)
  • Passion for fixing/making repairs and completing apartments for rent
  • Ability to work alone or with a team
  • Thrive in a fast-paced setting, enthusiastic about taking on new challenges, and have the desire to grow.
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Proactively juggle/complete multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Politely communicate with residents, onsite staff, and management
  • A positive attitude
