Your role 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Game Developer with a strong background in Unity to join our team at our new video game studio. Our focus is on creating innovative puzzle games for the casual mobile market.

As a Senior Game Developer, you will work in small, fast-moving teams to implement gameplay mechanics, levels, and overall game systems. Our focus is on creating prototypes quickly in order to assess their potential and iterate on ideas.

In this role, you should have a strong understanding of game development principles and be able to apply them to create fun and enjoyable gameplay experiences. You should also be able to analyze and optimize game systems and code for performance and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong portfolio of game development work, including experience developing casual games for mobile devices. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.

Your responsibilities 

• Build next generation casual games for mobile using Unity from concept to launch.

• Always look for a hit, even if that implies regularly killing prototypes.

• Create the first tools that will allow fast prototyping and iterations

• Monitor and optimize game performance, stability, and functionality.

• Participate in game design and provide ideas and feedback for new games.

• Have a startup mentality and want to foster a similar environment.

Your profile 

• 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on casual games for mobile devices

• Proficiency in Unity and experience developing games using the engine

• Strong understanding of game development principles and best practices

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

• Passionate about building new and innovative games from scratch.
