Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world.

As the Creative Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for collaborating with the creative development teams and setting vendors/factories up for success. You must be comfortable consulting with a broad range of stakeholders to understand and communicate the project needs to vendors/factories.

The ideal candidate for this position will be highly collaborative, approachable, and knowledgeable of the external development landscape for delivering content.

Your Superpowers in Action

  • Fielding and prioritizing a new asset request from the development team, in partnership with the Associate Director of Creative Operations.
  • You are practiced at writing clear instructions so that vendors can execute to distinction.
  • Responsible for delivering projects on budget and within the required timeline.
  • Writing a brief with clear instructions and supportive references for a new vendor.
  • Proactively problem-solves across all creative departments to maximize the efficiency of all teams across multiple projects, looks for solutions within own groups where possible.
  • Meet and take notes from the Art Director to better understand the visual style direction, so you can provide better feedback.
  • Troubleshooting a tech or pipeline issue in partnership with a vendor.
  • Delivering and receiving files and references to vendor/factory.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen.
  • Gathering metrics and KPIs to assemble and broadcast the status of outsourcing across the sculpt creative organization.

Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry

  • 2+ years of outsourcing experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably working directly with or for various creative teams.
  • Degree in Communication, Management, or related field.
  • Experience working across a diverse set of project types
  • More education or experience may be preferred or required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the toy or creative production process and production pipeline experience is preferred.
  • Experience using at least one project tracking software suite such as Jira, Smartsheets, and/or other.
  • Track record of excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle responsibilities while strategizing on efficiencies and priorities.
  • Must be detail-oriented to ensure accurate deliverables and take the initiative to meet deadlines.
  • Entertainment industry experience is a strong plus.
