The Excel Academy of Englewood is operated by Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI). SESI Schools provides specialized education programming for K -12 students who require additional educational and positive behavioral support to overcome challenges that impede success in a traditional school setting. The Opportunity             
School psychologists work with students in grades K-12, providing psychological evaluations and determining services in accordance with Pennsylvania state law, IDEA guidelines.            
Essential Duties and Responsibilities         
  • Consultation and collaboration with school staff, families, and students.     
  • Participate in an assessment plan meeting of students assigned for an initial or re-evaluation     
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations that include, but are not limited to, assessments of intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral status
  • Interpret assessment results, create written evaluation reports, and submit written reports to all designated contacts within the required timeframe.    
  • Lead assessment feedback meetings to review assessment results/findings/recommendations with all applicable parties present.    
  • Maintain student caseload in compliance with state timelines and other state and company guidance
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Comply with all Catapult Learning and school district policies and procedures
  • Other duties may be assigned
The Qualifications          
  • Active Pennsylvania Certification in School Psychology   
  • Must be willing to travel to schools in Philadelphia where school psychological evaluations are requested
