The Opportunity
School psychologists work with students in grades K-12, providing psychological evaluations and determining services in accordance with Pennsylvania state law, IDEA guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consultation and collaboration with school staff, families, and students.
- Participate in an assessment plan meeting of students assigned for an initial or re-evaluation
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations that include, but are not limited to, assessments of intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral status
- Interpret assessment results, create written evaluation reports, and submit written reports to all designated contacts within the required timeframe.
- Lead assessment feedback meetings to review assessment results/findings/recommendations with all applicable parties present.
- Maintain student caseload in compliance with state timelines and other state and company guidance
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Comply with all Catapult Learning and school district policies and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned
The Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Certification in School Psychology
- Must be willing to travel to schools in Philadelphia where school psychological evaluations are requested
