The Opportunity
As an Physical Education Teacher, you'll be vital, providing academic, emotional, and physical support to students who require extra assistance to thrive in school. You will:
Conduct frequent and appropriate assessments to tailor instructional plans
Collaborate with school personnel and families to drive positive outcomes
Foster an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor
Utilize the school's behavior support and intervention strategies
Record and track student growth and progress toward goals
Participate in the daily functions of the school, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all
The Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning Required
A Valid IL PEL with Science Endorsement Required
A Commitment to Learning and Implementing Feedback
The ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic educational environment
