The Opportunity

The Recruiter will play a vital role in promoting opportunities for jobseekers to postively impact students’ lives through our programs. They will source, cultivate, screen, and facilitate the selection process for qualified candidates for various positons within the organization. Working closely with hiring managers and Regional Directors, they understand staffing needs and ensure a streamlined and engaging selection process. This leader will report directly to the Director of Recruitment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties as assigned.

  • Client services
    • Provide exemplary support to hiring managers. Key contributions include:
      • Supporting hiring managers to proactively identify their hiring needs
      • Staying abreast of and acting on any changes in the talent landscape
      • Ensuring strong leads and applicants are identified, cultivated, screened, and quickly handed off to hiring managers for review
      • Supporting logistics for on-site interviews, virtual interviews, and hiring days
      • Stewarding a compelling and efficient offer extension process
      • Providing regular updates on recruitment progress using clear and accurate data
  • Build Diverse Pipeline
    • Design and execute virtual and in-person cultivation events
    • Utilize recruiter toolkit to source and cultivate qualified candidates
    • Generate and cultivate referrals through targeted campaigns
    • Demonstrate ability to prioritize sourcing efforts based on hiring needs across the region
  • Candidate experience
    • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience by demonstrating responsive, clear, and engaging communication at all stages of the recruitment process
    • Review and respond to candidate experience feedback to maintain or exceed annual targets
  • Exemplify operational excellence

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Recruitment experience, preferably in education or related field
  • Understanding of educator certification requirements, programs, and pathways to licensure preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
