HRIS Architect
Description
SUMMARY
FullBloom is seeking an HRIS Architect to join our team. The successful candidate supports alignment between system functionality and the company’s strategic goals through a proactive approach to understanding HR technology needs, enhancing system functionality and ensuring system performance. The Human Resource Information Services team supports and maintains all HR systems, related services, and applications used across the FullBloom network of businesses, in partnership with the broader HR team. This role will be responsible for the overall design and architecture of the HRIS landscape. This is a remote location position. Candidates from all states should apply. Philadelphia, PA is the location of the home office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages and supports optimal function of the organization’s internal HR information services systems, which may include database management, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules. Technical experience with the full Ultimate Software/UKG suite of modules is required. Experience with iCIMS is strongly desired.
- Proven capability to understand interconnectivity between HR toolsets (e.g. ATS -> HCM) and to recommend efficiencies in integrations, processes and automation possibilities.
- Significant report writing utilizing Cognos, as well as the ability to program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. Compiles or assists with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives and HR staff.
- Must possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to align organizational strategic goals and objectives with HRIS system outcomes.
- Must have excellent data analysis abilities, including the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights. Must be able to demonstrate comprehension of data flow, data pipelines and how to manipulate data flow.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases; recommends and implements solutions.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HR technology, HRIS applications, data management and security.
- Documents HRIS processes and configuration changes for compliance and training purposes
- Experience managing confidential information.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees, including payroll, recruitment, benefits.
- May manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HR services users in support of the HRIS team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years in an HRIS Architect or Senior-level HRIS role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field strongly preferred.
- HRIS and HCM tools (e.g. UltiPro, Cognos, iCIMS, Salary.com) experience required.
- Sophisticated Excel and SQL expertise.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities.
- Data Visualization tool experience a plus (e.g., Cognos BI, Power BI Tableau, Qlik).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
