Catapult Learning is seeking a full-time Onboarding Coordinator to join our team and support the onboarding and compliance processes for teachers and specialized services staff in the New Jersey-Philadelphia region. The ideal candidate will have a background in K-12 education and experience in high-volume hiring and onboarding. The Onboarding Coordinator will work up to 40 hours per week in a hybrid setting - in the office 1-2 days/wk and virtual 3-4 days/wk. Compensation is $24-26/hr.
What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic Onboarding Coordinator we seek has these qualifications.
  • Associate's degree or higher, required.
  • Minimum of two years of professional work experience, with at least one year in K-12 education preferred.
  • Understanding of state mandated clearances for education is a plus.
  • Experience in high-volume hiring and onboarding is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure, take initiative, and work independently
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other online platforms.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Oversee the clearance collection process, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
  • Ensure all onboarding procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Draft and process correspondences with candidates, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the onboarding process.
  • Enter and update data related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding in various tracking systems.
  • Monitor and update recruiting and hiring trackers.
  • Work closely with the hiring team and new hires to address any questions or issues that arise during the onboarding process.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
