How you’ll be there for students:
Be their advocate, shining star, and mentor.
- In-person instruction in New Orleans, LA (multiple locations available)
- Full & Part time schedules available, Mon-Thurs (schedule may vary by location, most schedules between the hours of 8am and 2:30pm)
- Small group math and literacy intervention (Tier 2)
- Working with K-8 students

- Facilitate the implementation of academic instructional programs, class work, and assessments for students.
- Maintain program instructional materials and computer lab components.
- Conduct attendance and program tracking and reports.
- Monitor students’ computer use and behavior to keep them on task.
- Foster a positive classroom environment as you maintain the confidentiality of students and families.

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications.
- High school diploma or higher required
- 2 years or 30 hours of college experience preferred.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals.
- Knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office experience.
