Behavioral Health Recruiter

Little Leaves Behavioral Services provides high quality, critical early intervention programs designed to nurture the growth and development of young children with social, behavior, and/or language challenges. Little Leaves provides a range of in-home, at-school, and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with developmental delays, especially autism spectrum disorders in Northern VA, the DC metro area, the Baltimore metro area and the Miami / Ft Lauderdale area in Florida.

Little Leaves is a center-based ABA program for young children with an autism spectrum disorder run in a preschool-like setting. The Little Leaves Center Program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5 pm. During the day, children have the opportunity to participate in individual therapy time, small group activities with peers, and activities of daily living. While many clients are at Little Leaves for the full day, an individualized schedule is developed for each child based on his/her therapeutic needs. Little Leaves currently has centers in Silver Spring, MD; Reston, VA; Alexandria, VA; Germantown, MD; White Marsh, MD; Columbia, MD; Ashburn, VA; and Weston, FL.

Little Leaves has an immediate need for a Recruiter to focus primarily on the recruitment of clinical staff, especially Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

  • The Recruiter will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will support the growth of Little Leaves by recruiting talent for openings at their ABA centers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting the growth of an organization that provides life-changing treatment to young children with autism and will be committed to identifying talent worthy of that responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruiting process for clinical staff, with a focus on Board Certified Behavior Analysts
  • Partner with internal hiring stakeholders to develop a thorough understanding of the current/future business and hiring needs
  • Working with the Talent Acquisitions Manager and other recruiters, develop innovative recruitment strategies that emphasize building and nurturing candidate pipelines
  • Source candidates utilizing all available tools and technologies; this may include networking, referrals, ATS systems, job boards, job postings and direct sourcing
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, and reference checks to identify qualified candidates who will contribute to the growth of the organization
  • Track and analyze relevant talent acquisition metrics
  • Stay current on new talent acquisition tools and processes as well as the competitor landscape
  • Represent and attend industry, university, and career events
  • Build external relationships with the ABA community
  • Other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting required
  • Behavioral healthcare experience required
  • BCBA/Behavior Technician recruitment a plus
  • Hands-on ABA experience a plus
  • Knowledge of autism with autism-related experience a plus
  • Experienced building innovative recruitment strategies that assist in the nurturing of candidate pipelines for current and future business needs
  • Understanding of recruiting technologies and trends included but not limited to: ATS systems, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job aggregators
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
