The assistant teacher position within our school focuses on collaborating with a licensed special education teacher to assist in facilitating lessons, guiding behavior, and supporting a classroom of students. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, but first and foremost is to provide support and care to our students who require a variety of special needs.

Our school is looking for dedicated team-players who are ready to jump into a role and learn a variety of new skills to support our students. Staff will be trained in crisis-management techniques, theories of teaching and learning, as well as the skills necessary to work in a cohesive and supportive team.

  • High School Diploma. College experience and or the completion of a bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A passion for working and educating for students

  • A willingness to attend training and further your skillset
Currently, we are delivering services in a hybrid model of online and in-person learning. We are prepared with safety procedures and protocols in place, in alignment with DPS and the department of health to ensure safety while working with students in-person.
