What we’re seeking:

Software Engineer II (EDW) designs, and implements data initiatives and ETL solutions, which include the use of relational, dimensional, and SaaS data lake houses for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. These solutions support enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, data science, GenAI, and other business interests. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our Dallas, TX, location to complete your work responsibilities. 

What you’ll do:

As part of the Enterprise Data Warehouse team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Part of requirements gathering meetings with application teams, Database Administrators, and/or business partners to understand business needs
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Managing and ensuring data quality
  • Responsible for developing Informatica IICS packages used in the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for EDW
  • Developing and maintaining the Operational data stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and associated data intelligence environments including data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories
  • Designing and implementing performance data movement pipelines using multiple ETL tools with batch and real-time event data streams (Databricks, Informatica, Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, AWS Kinesis, SQL Packages, etc.)
  • Problem-solving of Data warehouse and ODS application issues and production errors, including high-level critical production issues that require immediate attention

  • Salary Range:  $51,000 - $130,000

What background you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, business, or a related field
  • 1+ yrs of related experience in large corporate system environments working with large and complex systems
  • Must have minimum knowledge with Data bricks/Snowflake
  • Must have strong experience with AWS/AZURE/GCP
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with NO SQL/Columnar database is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is a must
