Network Operations Manager

This Manager position will be a leading member of the National Contract Administration and OPCEN Scheduling Teams.   Contract Administration is responsible for developing the scope of work and units for all contracts, working with local leadership to develop and define contract solutions for the Company, identifying and screening potential new vendors, supporting Frontier leadership and vendor leadership on contract interpretation, conflict resolution, dispute resolution, vendor audits, creating/developing addendums to existing contracts, training vendors and processing bids. Manager will also be responsible for leading members of the OPCEN scheduling team in OH who are responsible for work order project management, both capital and expense, for all class of plant project types with focus on major initiatives such as CIAC, CAF, FTTH, METRO E and BAU operations.  Management of the project life cycle starts once the project is approved to preparing the project for the closing team. Project management includes updating Varasset with build statuses, ensuring milestones are correct and met and updated.  The OPCEN scheduling team is also responsible for management of both COE and CON COMP queues in M6 to ensure circuit order due dates are met.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Supervisory experience
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in telecommunications 

Desired Skills

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the telecom industry and at least 5 years in Engineering, Construction or Operations
  • Knowledge of Frontier systems and applications; Varasset, M6, Infinium
  • Knowledge of Frontier products and services
  • Knowledge of ISP/COEI processes; Engineering and Construction/Installation
  • Knowledge of contracts and contract negotiations
  • Knowledge of VxField
