What we’re seeking:       
As the Director, Residential Connectivity Sales, you will oversee the strategic direction, development, and execution of our residential sales efforts. Leading a team of Sales Managers, you will drive sales performance, optimize processes, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire and empower their team to achieve ambitious sales targets and uphold Frontier's commitment to excellence. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 555 Lakewood Dr., Waterbury, CT to complete your work responsibilities.      
       
What you’ll do:       
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Sales Initiatives: Spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the consumer segment.
  • Provide Visionary Leadership: Inspire and motivate a team of Sales Managers to excel in their roles and exceed performance targets. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, empowering team members to achieve their full potential. Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and recognize and reward top performers. Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
  • Optimize Sales Processes and Resources: Drive operational excellence by optimizing sales processes, tools, and resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and leverage technology to automate routine tasks and enable sales team productivity. Ensure alignment between sales operations and other functional areas, such as marketing, customer service, and product development, to maximize synergy and drive holistic business outcomes.
  • Lead Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of top-tier sales talent to build a high-performing team capable of driving sustainable growth. Partner with HR and talent acquisition teams to identify talent gaps, develop targeted recruitment strategies, and onboard new hires effectively. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to nurture employee skills and competencies and foster career advancement within the organization.
  • Drive Performance Excellence: Establish clear performance metrics, goals, and KPIs for the sales team, monitoring performance against targets and taking proactive measures to address performance gaps. Implement robust performance management processes, including regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development plans, to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Partner with stakeholder groups to Implement sales incentive programs and recognition initiatives to motivate and reward top performers and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Enhance Customer Experience and Satisfaction: Champion a customer-centric mindset across the sales organization, prioritizing customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs, pain points, and preferences and develop tailored solutions and value propositions to address them. Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction metrics, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement in products, services, and customer experiences.
  • Ensure Compliance and Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance in all sales activities and interactions.
  • Drive Business Growth and Innovation: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new market opportunities, product offerings, and revenue streams to drive business growth and innovation. Lead the evaluation of emerging trends, technologies, and industry developments to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage. Champion innovation initiatives, pilot programs, and strategic partnerships to accelerate growth and expand Frontier's market presence in the residential connectivity segment.

  • Salary Range:  $148,000 to $214,000
  • 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per year
  • Day one medical, dental, vision and prescription drug plan
  • 401k match of 50% on 6% of eligible compensation

  • 10 weeks of paid parental leave, 3 weeks of paid caregiver leave and up to $10k in adoption program assistance.
       
What background you should have:       
  • 7+ years of second-level leadership experience (leader of people leaders) in sales or higher
  • Bachelor´s degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to strategically plan and execute initiatives in highly competitive environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales methodologies and market dynamics
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing processes, driving performance, and enhancing customer experience.
  • Flexibility to accommodate non-traditional work hours.
  • Readiness to travel to assigned territories and company facilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended durations during field visits.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license

  • Telecommunications Experience
  • Direct/Door-to-Door Sales Leadership Experience
  • Direct Marketing Experience
