Wholesale Digital Desk & Inside Sales Director

About the Role
The Wholesale
Digital Desk & Inside Sales Director will be a key leader in our wholesale business unit focusing on developing solutions with customers to ensure Frontier is the preferred supplier of connectivity solutions in our markets.   From fostering innovation and working cross-functionally, to driving performance and delivering results through flawless execution, this position has responsibility for the growth and profitability of our Wholesale division. This position must drive positive change to create a customer-focused, automated, engaged, and competitive approach to sales and account management.   

Key Job Responsibilities

Operations/Sales:

  • Develops and executes tactical sales & marketing strategies
  • Communicates and delivers against goals that drive results
  • Drives a sales and customer-focused culture
  • Collaborates with regional and corporate staff, while providing feedback to improve processes and customer experience

Competitive Marketplace:

  • Thorough understanding of the competition (products, promotions, business/sales & marketing strategies).
  • Develop and utilize marketing initiatives to promote the Company’s products and services

Leadership:

  • Lead a focused team accountable to achieve results through coaching and performance management
  • Demonstrates ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce
  • Consistently provides feedback and direction to staff to ensure employee development, engagement, and business knowledge
  • Leverages all employee communication vehicles and opportunities (weekly/monthly/quarterly/one-on-ones) to obtain feedback on departmental goals, gains input on action plans and modifies direction as necessary to engage and hold employees accountable for overall business results 
  • Utilizes and leverages existing employee recognition programs to reward key contributions and positively impact employee morale
  • Partners with Human Resources to ensure firm, fair, and consistent application of HR practices/policies and labor agreements
  • Supports employees that directly interface with the customers by removing barriers, soliciting process improvement suggestions, and streamlining the work processes
  • Responds to issues identified on Customer Surveys, works with teams to ensure action plans are developed, and ensures follow-up on customer issue resolution identified in action plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience leading a sales team
  • Proven track record of sales to technical accounts, delivering results and driving it to the next level
  • Proven experience/knowledge in the telecoms industry
  • A driven and passionate individual that can grow an important part of Frontier’s business
  • Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance within sales teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Able to work at pace in an ever-changing environment
