Marketing Analyst - Marketing Acquisition and CRM initiatives

Scope & Responsibilities
The marketing operations team is looking for a smart, analytical, self-motivated entry-level marketer to join our team. This role will support Marketing Acquisition and CRM initiatives.  As a Marketing Analyst, you will be involved with marketing data structure and providing clear organization and instruction for accurate targeting to the database teams to ensure print, email and other media are presented to qualified leads.  The ability to think logically and translate needs from Marketers, Strategy and Product Mgrs. to members of the Database teams is key to this role.  This role will manage the execution of marketing matrixes used by external vendors for creative execution. This role will also assist the management of the Marketing budget supporting quarterly and monthly reports, and invoice processing. There will also be cross-functional training on campaign development and creative reviews, providing a full exposure and understanding of the Go To Market process

The position will require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to manage several projects at a time. Communication skills are also important, as this position will regularly interact with internal departments including corporate marketing, product, strategy, IT, regulatory and legal, as well as, external agencies and other vendor partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of direct mail, on bill messages and other similar targeting needs for marketing campaigns
  • Interface with cross-functional teams and external vendor teams to understand, define and execute data parameters & needs
  • Create and maintain marketing data matrix to define requirements for database team
  • Use web-based billing platform to define targeting, load marketing graphics, and build campaigns
  • Assist with quality review of marketing data and lists
  • Manage vendor data inquiries and ensure accuracy of direct mail campaigns
  • Q/C requests ensuring all leads qualify
  • Work with specified vendors on matrices and schedules
  • Assist with budget management, reporting and invoice processing
  • Support ad hoc campaign and report requests

Requirements

      • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business
      • 1-3 years of experience in marketing
      • Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills, familiarity with SQL a plus
      • Excellent communication skills; ability to synthesize general concepts to succinct and logical instruction
      • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple initiatives
      • A team player with strong relationship-building-qualities
      • Ability to build relationships across business partners
