What we’re seeking:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Alternate Channel Sales Leader focused on Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market reach. This individual should possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of SMB market dynamics, and a passion for driving business success. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to New Haven, CT to complete your work responsibilities.

What we need in you:

To excel as an Alternate Channel Sales Leader focusing on Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB), one must possess a keen understanding of alternative sales channels and the unique needs of SMB customers. Success in this role hinges on the ability to build strong relationships with channel partners, lead a team effectively, and adapt swiftly to evolving market dynamics. Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset are key traits that drive success in driving revenue growth and expanding market reach within the SMB segment.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute Small Business sales channel strategies to increase sales and market penetration
  • Expand and develop B2B Community and Real-Estate relationships for optimal small business sales opportunities
  • Manage and grow Master Agent programs
  • Manage and grow D2D Vendors/Agents
  • Manage & distribute small business marketing sales leads
  • Direct all projects within timelines (inception to completion)
  • Manage and leverage organizational support to fulfill Small Business sales channel support and sales needs
  • Ensure vendor participation in all products & offer training curriculum and knowledge checks
  • Daily order research and correction to assist in sale efficiency and through-put; mitigate order fall-out
  • Manage Integration, Fulfillment, and Commission support for channel sales, order processes, third-party vendors, and fulfillment partners
  • Guide regional Small Business sales channel support or assigned roles on Channel Execution objectives and plans
  • Sales boot camps to help you meet your quotas, individualized coaching with senior leadership, and our annual president’s club

  • Salary Range:  $67,000 to $132,000
  • 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per year

What background you should have:

  • Ability to perform as a strategic thinker as well as a tactical performer
  • Proven track record of driving sales teams and vendor success
  • Previous experience leading a diverse team of individuals and creating an environment that encourages creativity and excitement while producing consistently strong sales results
  • Must have success in leading sales teams towards common goals that result in sales & revenue generation
  • Experience in Local Engagement and Community Networking
  • Bachelor of Science degree in marketing or business required; MBA preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed…travel required (25%+) for vendor recruiting, training, relationship development, Trade Shows & Events, and driving sales
  • A valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record
