What we’re seeking:    
    
As the Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics, you will be instrumental in fostering a data-driven culture within our organization. In this role, you will focus on managing, interpreting, and visualizing large data sets to support strategic and operational decision-making. Your expertise in creating interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards, automating reporting processes, and performing ad-hoc analyses will enable our stakeholders to understand complex data effortlessly. You will apply your knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to reveal underlying trends and insights that drive business outcomes. This position requires a unique combination of technical proficiency in BI tools, a deep understanding of data analysis methodologies, and exceptional communication skills to convey analytical findings in a clear and impactful manner. Your contributions will not only enhance our analytical capabilities but also improve our overall business efficiency and effectiveness. In this hybrid role, you will be required to report to 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX to complete your work responsibilities 4 days a week with one day work from home.   
    
What we need in you:    
   
We are looking for someone with advanced analysis and strong communication skills who can help expand our Data Science capabilities to structure data and build out models that will help the business drive sales, revenue, churn reduction and strategic deals.   
    
What you’ll do:    
    
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and support business decision-making across various departments
  • Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to streamline data flow and enhance reporting efficiency using Power BI, Power Automate, and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and deliver custom ad-hoc reports and analytics solutions that address specific business questions
  • Implement data modeling techniques to structure and simplify data for easier analysis and reporting
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through the development of validation checks and data quality metrics
  • Optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for performance, usability, and accessibility, ensuring they meet the needs of end-users
  • Train and support business users on how to use Power BI dashboards and reports effectively, promoting a data-driven culture within the organization
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and analytics to continuously improve reporting and analysis capabilities
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Establish and enforce best practices in BI development, data management, and data governance
  • Evaluate and integrate new data sources into the BI system to expand and enhance the organization's analytical capabilities
  • Facilitate the sharing of insights and analytical findings across the organization through regular reports, presentations, and discussions
  • Work closely with IT and data management teams to ensure secure and efficient data access and storage, adhering to data privacy regulations and company policies

  • Salary Range:  $64,000 - $189,000
  • 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per year

What background you should have:    
    
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with a strong focus on designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Proficiency in automating reporting and analysis workflows using Power BI, Power Automate, and similar BI tools, demonstrating a deep understanding of data automation practices
  • Advanced proficiency in using SQL for data manipulation and complex queries, with a strong foundation in database management and optimization techniques
  • Solid experience in Excel for advanced data analysis, including the use of pivot tables, complex formulas, and visualization features
  • Familiarity with data transformation and cleaning techniques using programming languages such as R or Python is highly desirable
  • Practical experience with MS SQL Server, including the development of stored procedures, the design of database schemas, and the implementation of new database solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders, translating data into actionable business intelligence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate reporting solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines
