Position Title: Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project/Customer Relationship Manager to oversee the successful completion of numerous milestones and overall timelines for the installation of fiber-optic internet infrastructure in multifamily residential buildings within the defined market. This role is crucial for coordinating various internal and external activities, ensuring all aspects of the project are on track, and driving accountability to meet prescribed SLAs, all while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communications and Coordination:
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including building owners, property managers, contractors, and internal resources, to ensure the completion of key site visits and the approval of engineering documentation.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned.
Vendor Coordination:
  • Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and enforce SLA compliance for timelines related to site surveys, design development, and pricing submissions.
  • Address and resolve client delays, including visiting properties to meet in person with client decision-makers when necessary.
Progress Tracking and Reporting:
  • Monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables.
  • Prepare regular status reports and updates for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately maintained by relevant team members throughout the process.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager overseeing infrastructure projects, preferably in telecommunications or construction.
  • Strong understanding of fiber-optic network installation processes, standards, and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence both customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project objectives while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned state to conduct face-to-face meetings with customers, vendors, and internal resources.
