Corporate HR/Talent Acquisition Intern

Position Description:

The Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Intern will work directly with the Corporate Human Resources team in Norwalk, CT to provide front line HR and recruiting support by providing excellent internal and external customer service. 

The Human Resources Intern will gain experience in many facets of HR and recruiting from day-to-day employee relations to assisting in the implementation of corporate wide HR initiatives and working with our team of recruiters to hire and on-board new employees. During the internship program, you will receive both formal and informal training.

Day to Day:

  • Sitting in on New Hire Orientations,
  • Creating new employee personnel files,
  • Processing internal HR paperwork, as well as exposure to Human Resources leaders in the field and processing their requests as well as any ongoing projects. 
  • Assist with hiring of targeted professionals based on needs.
  • Assist with communication for everyone involved in the hiring process, including coordinating the interview process.
  • Participate in special projects/task forces as assigned

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
  • Not eligible to graduate students.

An important requirement of the internship is to have a great deal of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidential information. To be successful, you need to be a self-starter who is naturally curious and willing to take the initiative on improving processes and procedures as well as be creative and offer ideas from a first-hand perspective.
