    POSITION SUMMARY:

     
    Under the supervision of the Compliance Specialist, the Compliance Coordinator will obtain and maintain applicable licenses for residential installation of solar systems for local jurisdictions (AHJs) in multiple states. 
     
    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
     
    • Conduct research concerning local licensure and registration requirements and obtain and maintain licenses 
    • Assist with the preparation and filing of necessary applications, and maintenance of renewals of Contractor Registrations, licenses and business licenses 
    • Assist with producing guidelines and tools for planning, organizing, executing and controlling the related project activities by providing summaries of research 
    • Provide correct and complete information for license requirements at all levels. References to all research will need to be documented. 
    • Review insurance policies in response to requests to confirm coverage from Third Parties 
    • Comfortable handling high pressure phone calls or face-to-face conversations 
    • Friendly and collaborative personality/demeanor 
    • Perform other duties as assigned 
     
    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 
     
    Education & Certifications: 
    • High School Graduate or GED 
    • Commissioned as Notary Public in State of California preferred 
     
    Experience: 
    • Experience with business licenses, contractor licenses & understanding the process to apply for permits is a plus but not required 
    • Solar experience/knowledge is also a plus, but not required

    • Great communication skills (written and verbal) and world-class customer service aptitude skills 
    • Excellent Organization skills 
    • Must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats, flexible attitude and quick to react 
    • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills. 
    • Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail 
    • Excels under pressure in demanding, fast-paced environment 
    • Have significant experience in administrative office setting 
    • Able to work effectively as a team and on their own without needing constant supervision 
    • Able to adapt and learn quickly in a new environment 
     
    Special Skills & Training: 
     
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other software programs
