Position Summary: 
If you’ve got strong electrical skills and an electrician’s license in the state of Ohio -please keep reading! We’re Freedom Forever, a Solar Company known for safety, quality, and innovation. We’re expanding operations in our Columbus geography and we’re hiring an electrician to join our service team! 
Job Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
  • Complete jobs with quality workmanship, compliant with current NEC and local codes
  • Work with the branch team and homeowners to fulfill any necessary system repairs to support main panel upgrades and electrical tie-ins 
  • Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
  • Complete residential main panel upgrades (MPU)
  • Work with installation crews to complete electrical tie-ins for Photovoltaic systems
  • Conduit bending (EMT) and ability to produce consistent quality
  • Follow all safe work practices 
  • Provide top notch customer service
  • Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders
  • Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned 
 Qualifications Requirements: 
  • State of Ohio Electrician License 
  • Qualified to drive a company vehicle during the workday 
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience 
  • Strong knowledge of current NEC codes 
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license 
  • Use time prioritization skills to achieve required timelines 
  • Ability to read and interpret single and three-line drawings 
  • High school diploma, GED

  • While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side 
  • Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm 
  • Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place
  • Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods of time
  • Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position 
  • React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet
  • Understand the speech of another person
  • Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects 
  • Lift 50+ pounds
