POSITION SUMMARY: 
 
The Instructional Designer at Freedom Forever will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders, dedicated to identifying organizational training needs. This role requires the ability to comprehend new concepts and transform them into engaging and effective learning content to support efforts of shaping the professional development landscape within the organization.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Work closely with Senior Instructional Designer, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to actively contribute to the instructional design process.
  • Participate in needs analysis sessions to identify learning requirements and contribute to defining key learning objectives for training programs, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals.
  • Utilize various technologies to contribute to the creation of learning experiences, such as digital content, facilitated sessions, and other mediums that continued training efforts and initiatives.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments, surveys, and other measurement tools.
  • Collaborate in the review of existing training content to ensure alignment with business requirements, suitability for the audience, and adherence to brand standards. Implement revisions based on feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the management of the learning management system (LMS), assisting in user experience and content organization.
  • Support in efforts of ensuring training materials comply with relevant industry regulations, organizational policies, and legal requirements to maintain training compliance standards. 
  • Engage in ongoing research to stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in Instructional Design and technology.
 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 
 
Education & Certifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree required
 
Experience: 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Instructional Design
  • 2 years of Solar Industry experience is a plus, but not required
