POSITION SUMMARY:
Electrical Production Manager (EPM) reports to the Director of Operations (DO) or the Branch Manager (BM) and is responsible for ensuring a successful and efficient installation on a subset of projects, as determined by project type, or assigned by the DO. Projects directly under the supervision of the Electrical Production Manager will be primarily compromised of, but not limited to, Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and Main Service Panel Replacements (MPU). The Electrical Production manager will be held accountable for project pre-planning, day of install support and ensuring quality/compliance of said project. All projects must strictly follow the standards set forth by Freedom Forever, while adhering to all applicable codes and standards. The EPM will be required daily to work cross functionally with all departments within the Freedom Forever organization and externally with various officials/departments.
$60,000 to $70,000 per year + benefits + advancement opportunities
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and coordinate installations and inspections of batteries and utility related service upgrades to ensure conformance to codes and Freedom Forever standards across a large service territory
- Maintain your personal training requirements and assist in ensuring all electrical installers in the region are current with their product certification/training
- Leverage reporting and Freedom’s resources to maintain the project pipeline daily
- Pre-plan all assigned projects in the time allocated by their manager (ex: minimum 7 days ahead of time) to identify and remove barriers that would cause installation inefficiency
- Thoroughly and regularly review completed projects (ESS/MPU, etc.) to ensure the installation meets all standards and requirements
- Create and maintain Utility and Jurisdictional relationships involved in the scheduling and inspecting of approved service upgrades
- Clearly and concisely provide guidance to other teams on project feasibility and requirements
- Serve as the electrical subject matter expert for the assigned region
- Assist with various aspects or project planning when requested (cost estimates, material specification, scheduling, etc.)
- Identify future staffing, training or supply constraint concerns and alert the responsible parties to prevent potential pipeline chokepoints
- Follow and enforce all Company and project specific safety measures
- Follow and enforce Freedom Forever’s set standards and best practices, while identifying any need for deviation
- Work to ensure that we are delivering an excellent customer experience and escalate customer
concerns as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Licensed Electrician Preferred
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years electrical experience, preferably in the residential renewables field
- Comprehensive understanding of industry standards and methods.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Can perform on-site Training and Installation Support
- Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), relevant International Codes and local codes/ordinances for the assigned region
- Possess a strong knowledge of installation practices that relate to the Company’s products
- Possess a strong knowledge of materials and processes that relate to the Company's products
- Possess good communication skills that will enhance external and internal relations
- Possess strong organizational skills and capable of making decisions without constant
supervision
- Ability to read various construction documents (electrical, PV, architectural, etc.)
- Use of both common and specialized trade tools (tape measure, multimeter, hand and power tools, torque wrench, etc.)
- Capable of learning new skills, products and processes as needed
- Must have a valid driving license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Special Skills & Training:
- Good computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Company's CRM and ERP systems is a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.) If required to travel, m ust have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
