POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Placard Coordinator will be responsible for managing a high daily volume of projects to be processed across multiple Installation Branches. This includes managing the pipeline of projects in need of placards, navigating internal and external software to set up the cutting of placards, aligning and operating the engraving machines (or other hardware used to procure signage and labeling), and verifying the accuracy of the placards before shipping them to the correct Branch.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work up to 90% of the time on various CRM, ERP, and 2D printing software, learning and navigating new programs as needed
  • Experience with vcarve, Cut2D, or CAD software is a plus
  • Work independently and manage queues of projects needing placards across multiple branches
  • Manage and prioritize queues in the order that is most effective for the business, ensuring that local inspections teams have what they need in order to host their inspections
  • Consistently meet SLAs of 24-48 hours after installation or design complete (whichever is the last blocker for inspection)
  • Look for ways to save resources by sourcing material with the best value, consolidating larger volume of placards into fewer shipments, and optimizing the time spent producing placards
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy on the placards being cut, validating them against the approved plans and installation details

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education & Certifications:

 

  • High School Graduate or GED

 

Experience:

 

  • 1+ years of previous CAD or similar 2D design software experience is preferred

 

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use, Oracle experience a plus
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization
