POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Funding Lead reports directly to the Funding Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing the work of Senior Coordinators and Coordinators, ensuring efficient and accurate project financing processes across teams. The Lead takes a proactive role in delivering process improvements, creating and delivering training materials, and driving key performance metrics. This role requires advanced problem-solving skills, the ability to resolve complex project issues, and maintain strong working relationships with both internal teams and external finance partners to ensure funds are secured promptly and projects remain on track. 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with finance partners to ensure effective collaboration, timely funding, and escalated problem resolution. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Funding Supervisor to develop and implement training materials for coordinators and senior coordinators. 
  • Deliver regular updates on key performance metrics to management, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and solutions. 
  • Proactively engage with finance partners and internal teams to optimize funding processes, ensuring high approval rates and exploring opportunities for process improvements. 
  • Oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle in relation to finance needs, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and addressing any issues or delays. 
  • Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and other departments to address escalated issues and ensure clear communication across teams. 
  • Act as a secondary escalation point for complex customer inquiries and concerns, providing prompt, professional resolutions. 
  • Manage aging projects, Finance Partner Rejections, and maintain secure financing through extensions, project progress, and interaction with finance partners. 
  • Report on processing targets, deviations, and outstanding balances, ensuring accountability across departments by communicating action items accordingly. 
  • Provide mentorship and support to Senior Coordinators and Coordinators, assisting in achieving team objectives and fostering skill development.
