POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing support to our recruiting team and leadership through the onboarding process for new hires. This position will be instrumental in ensuring that our hiring processes are being followed, and compliance is met so that we continue to recruit and retain high-performing employees.
- Organize candidates’ data (e.g. resumes and contact details) and track candidate’s onboarding status and hiring progress in ATS database
- Coordinate travel arrangements for new hires
- Prepare job offer letters
- Coordinate pre-employment background checks, drug screens and reference checks, contacting candidates by telephone and email, as needed
- Managing high volume onboardings, ensuring a seamless day 1 experience
- Partner with various departments including IT, HR, Facilities to communicate new hires coming onboard and facilitate their equipment, seating arrangements, travel, etc.
- Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing necessary paperwork, requesting company credit cards and scheduling trainings)
- Support new hires onsite during pre-onboarding process
- Support new hires onsite during new hire orientation
- Perform other duties assigned
Education & Certifications:
- High School Graduate or GED
- 1-2 years of successful Human Resources Assistant, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, or Administrative Assistant experience in a fast paced or high-volume environment, is required
- Bilingual- English & Spanish
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication
- Exceptional time management; proactive with a strong sense of urgency
- Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Proficient in HRIS or ATS, required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES
- Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
- Regularly spend long hours answering phone calls and emails
- Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly
- Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering information into a computer
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
