Mobile Developer
Description
Remote position salary range $130K to $180K including benefits.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mobile Developer is responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining next-level mobile applications. This role requires a deep knowledge of the most current mobile development tools and practices as well as the ability to learn our Company’s user base in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
- Design interfaces to improve user experience
- Liaise with Product Development team to plan new features
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
- Stay up to date with new technology trends
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Mobile developer
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
- Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
- Ability to perform in a team environment
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Ability to translate abstract ideas into automated or non-automated solutions
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Special Skills & Training:
- Familiarity with OOP design principles
- In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
