POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the relationship with the assigned regional operations and field teams. This is a leadership role, overseeing a group of employees which will perform various functions with a unified goal of improving realization rates. The Manager of Sales Support will collaborate closely with the Directors of Sales Support to create and implement best practices for external and internal communication, workflow and productivity. Their main responsibility is to keep sales satisfaction high while continuously looking for ways to improve the sales experience. This role requires a clear understanding of Freedom’s sales and installation process and effective communication skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drive installation targets and increase realization through various means
· Build rapport with Director of Operations, Branch Managers, Production Managers, and sales representatives to improve realization rates
· Provide support and feedback to sales and operations teams on areas of improvement
· Advocate for sales reps internally and work to meet goals and/or contractual agreements
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned team
· Track team performance of assigned queues and tasks such as document collection, tickets, etc.
· Ensure team members are properly trained to answer a variety of general, regional, and project-specific questions
· Communicate expectations and goals to team members
· Triage complex projects, create practical solutions, initiate proper action and follow through to ensure project progression
· Identify trends within the installation process that negatively impact project realization and velocity and present findings to operations and sales teams
· Meet daily expectations as set out and communicated by management
· Promote teamwork and cooperative effort
· Participate in team meetings, discussions and other activities as required in order to support the team and improve the quality of the operation
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:
· High School Graduate or GED
Experience:
· 2+ years of solar sales support experience required
· 2+ years of customer service experience required
· 1+ Years Solar Leadership Experience
· 6+ months of Sales Support Manager experience required
