POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate Software Product Manager is responsible for supporting the vision and execution of the company's product line under the guidance of a Software Product Manager. This role involves collaborating with various department teams to help in making informed business decisions and supporting product strategies that contribute to the company’s long-term sustainability. The Associate Software Product Manager will assist in managing the product lifecycle, conducting market research, and working closely with Technology, Sales, and Operations teams to refine products and explore new ideas.

 ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist in managing the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Support the development, preparation, and maintenance of the product roadmap.
  • Help in developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan and assist in overseeing interdepartmental activities to execute these plans.
  • Contribute to the analysis of potential partner relationships for the products.
  • Support the definition of a feature roadmap based on business opportunities and market research.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and other leadership team members to evaluate and prioritize opportunities.
  • Become knowledgeable in the various product markets to support technology research and development efforts.
  • Assist in product launch and release plans, coordinating with Marketing, Support, and training teams.
  • Support the management of task management software and facilitate SDLC meetings.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for product features, including user guides, release notes, and other relevant materials to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience:

  • Experience with task management tools such as JIRA is preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage junior-level project tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the product management field.
