Position Summary
The Roofing Foreman is a hands-on leader responsible for managing roofing crews, ensuring safe and efficient job site operations, and delivering high-quality installations. You’ll coordinate with project managers, enforce safety protocols, and oversee all aspects of roofing work from start to finish.
Pay range $27 to $32/hr. + benefits+ advancement opportunities

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Crew Management
- Supervise and support roofing crews on-site.
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and mentor team members.
- Conduct safety talks and uphold job site discipline.
Project Execution
- Perform roof installations, repairs, tear-offs, flashing, underlayment, and shingle work.
- Interpret blueprints and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and company standards.
Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate daily schedules, material deliveries, and equipment needs.
- Track project progress, crew hours, and material usage.
- Maintain accountability for tools and equipment.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and fall protection.
- Complete incident reports and promote a safety-first culture.
Quality Control
- Inspect work for defects and ensure warranty standards are met.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
What You Bring
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience
- 3+ years of roofing experience (shingle systems preferred).
- 1+ year in a leadership or foreman role strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in reading blueprints and project documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards (OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred).
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing labor-intensive tasks.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a criminal history check, MVR check, and a 9-panel drug screen (includes Amphetamines, Cocaine Metabolites, Opiates, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene).
- Travel to job sites required; must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
