Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our solar operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including installation, inspection, permitting, and servicing of residential and small commercial solar projects. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in solar installation and team management, committed to delivering high-quality results and exceptional customer service.

Pay range $80,000 to $95,000 plus bonuses + benefits + opportunities for advancement
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage branch operations and administrative functions.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems.
- Supervise and mentor a diverse team including installers, auditors, coordinators, and field managers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and contract specifications.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
- Provide technical support and remote assessments for solar installations.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast installations and report branch performance.
- Manage customer escalations and ensure a smooth handoff between departments.
- Maintain corporate facilities and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in solar operations or a related field.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in reading job orders and interpreting specifications.
- Knowledge of carpentry, electrical systems, and solar technologies.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
- Ability to sit, stand, and move between tasks throughout the day.
- Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods and communicate clearly.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel to project sites may be required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
