Position Summary:

We’re Freedom Forever, a Solar Company known for quality and innovation, and we’re hiring an electrician to join our installation.    
As our Electrician, you’ll be responsible for providing the technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects.     
Job Duties/Responsibilities:    
  • Assemble all components of a residential solar system 
  • Work with the crew and complete Photovoltaic system installs (PV)
  • Follow safe work practices and ensure that the work is performed in a workmanlike manner, compliant with all State and local codes and standards
  • Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
  • Provide quality customer service throughout the installation
  • Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders
  • Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete
  • Strong knowledge and experience of conduit bending (EMT) ability to consistently produce quality work
 Qualifications Requirements:    
  • Journeyman Electrician Licensed Required
  • Qualified to drive a company vehicle during the workday
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
  • Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Use time prioritization skills to achieve required timelines
  • Ability to read and interpret single and three-line drawings
  • High school diploma, GED

  • Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects 
  • Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls 
  • Stand, walk, or run for long periods of time 
  • Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles 
  • Repeatedly kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, crawl, or reach out
  • See details of objects that are less than a few feet away 
  • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness 
  • Determine the distance between objects
  • While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side 
  • Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm 
  • Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place
  • Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods of time
  • Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position 
  • React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet
  • Understand the speech of another person
  • Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects 
  • Lift 50+ pounds
