Senior Product Manager - Freedom Home Loans Consumer Communications & Engagement



We are looking for a results-driven Senior Product Manager with a strong track record in driving and launching successful consumer facing digital experience in the financial services.

This is a senior product manager role in Lendage, our rapidly growing home lending business unit within Freedom Financial Network.

 As the Consumer Communications PM, you will be responsible for defining and executing the north star vision for creating engaging experience across all consumer facing platforms and channels (email, sms, consumer portal). You will work closely with the Lendage Marketing team and enterprise contact strategy team to determine and implement effective communication strategies that result in measurable impact.

You must be consumer focused with a passion for building experiences and capabilities that lead to ease of use and high engagement, leveraging the latest innovations in technology. 

You must also be data driven and have a keen understanding for business metrics and digital acquisition funnel KPIs.

 As a Senior PM, you will work with key leaders and stakeholders in Sales, Marketing and Operations. You will partner closely with Design and Engineering to define product vision, roadmap and drive prioritization of initiatives based on business goals.

  •       Be the consumer advocate - understand Freedom/ Lendage consumers wants and needs and their pain points across the journey - and define our products and offerings to meet those needs
  •       Define the consumer communications roadmap, set the sprint team's goals, strategic direction, success metrics and roadmap to develop new products that are aligned with Freedom’s mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and usability studies.
  •       Completely own your team's products, existing or new,  across the lifecycle - from ideation, through agile development, to launch, growth and maintenance. Establish the proper frameworks to constantly measure and improve.
  •       Lead and align cross-functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners and operations to drive a shared vision.
  •       Drive experimentation with both quantitative and qualitative research and multivariate or A/B testing
  •       Understand design including design thinking and service design as you will work closely with the design team to conceptualize the consumer journey and deliver new experiences
  •       Communicate clearly to all levels - roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences.


  •       Must have 5+ years of  digital product management experience, with at least 3 as a consumer-facing PM. 

Experience and expertise in defining and implementing consumer communications strategies through various channels

  •       Strong customer empathy and previous experience working on customer-facing product flows, ideally in consumer lending or financial services.

Ability to lead from vision definition, product discovery through product delivery to create compelling value propositions for consumers and value for the business. 

  •   Ability to earn trust and commitment at all levels of the organization and create win-win situations that benefit the company and your initiative
  •   Experience collaborating with Product Design partners to drive a clean and simple information architecture, brand-aligned visual design and content strategy, and consistent interaction design patterns
  •   Experience collaborating with Engineering and vendors to understand what’s feasible, what opportunities exist, and sequence/roadmap product releases to meet the needs of consumers and the business
  •   Ability to lead and execute with a sense of urgency. Drive towards action and outcome through direct action as well as influencing key teams and partners. 
  •   Experience in leveraging insights, data and analytics to deliver product enhancements that resulted in significant consumer engagement and business growth. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  •       Strong execution ability and experience taking a concept from idea to launch
  •       Experience leading post-launch optimizations including developing testing strategies with at least 2 years of experience with A/B testing 
  •       Experience in managing ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. 
  •       Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem.
  •       Detail-oriented with organizational skills -- be comfortable balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing requests and be able to prioritize appropriately
  •       Strong verbal and written communication skills at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, and other audiences.
  •       An academic background in Computer Science, experience as a software engineer, or related discipline a plus but not required
  •     Communications, Marketing or other business degree a plus
