Role overview:
Lead and create a plan for social media campaigns ensuring target audience acquisition and supporting brand and business objectives across the client’s social media portfolio.
key responsibilities:
- Develop agency POV on how Social and Mobile drive Brand marketing efforts
- Provide direction and relevant insights to guide Social Media efforts and integrated marketing communications plans for the Client
- Reinforce Social Media expertise; stay current on changes in the Social Media space and experiment with new ways to leverage Social Media to achieve marketing objectives and goals
- Identify a big picture vision for what Social strategy can deliver for a Client's business
- Articulate and defend the rationale for recommended Social Media tools and approaches to the Agency team and Clients
- Ensure that all parties (including Social team, internal Client team, and relevant Partner Agencies / disciplines) are strategically aligned across all platforms to deliver the best Social marketing solutions
- Manage pod (Client teams) integration with Creative Directors and Account Managers
- Serve as the key point of contact and subject matter expert for Account teams and with key stakeholders on Social and Mobile developments to ensure we are providing Clients with the most up-to-date best practices
- Oversee the production of quality Social Media work across all Agency & Agency Partners and ensure that the work developed is at the standard expected by the Agency
- Identify similar themes across projects and Clients to efficiently tackle new challenges and identify clear paths forward
- Provide insight and expertise into major Brand campaigns to ensure that they are optimized appropriately for Social and Mobile
- Take a leadership role in understanding and uncovering Client motivations / needs
- Demonstrate expert presentation skills that help to change minds and inspire others
- Provide direction and vision for new opportunities in order to expand existing business
- Assume responsibility for the growth and development of the multi-disciplinary Social team
- Regularly provide feedback and create opportunities for individual team member growth and development
Skills & Requirements:
- Around 10-15 years of relevant experience in the industry.
- Proficient in leveraging social media platforms to drive impactful outcomes.
- Demonstrated prowess in team leadership and management.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Exhibits a penchant for innovative thinking and creative problem-solving.
- Highly adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently with finesse.
- Demonstrates exceptional analytical acumen, translating insights into strategic initiatives effectively.
