Senior Account Executive
Description
The Role:
To be the day to day contact on allocated areas of accounts, on both an internal and external basis. Delivering an efficient, effective and profitable service.
Understands both his / her account’s dynamics as well as the agency’s to ensure he / she is balancing between agency’s systems and finances while primarily maintaining client’s business interests.

Responsibilities
Client
· Develop and maintain a close and productive relationship with relevant client contacts, acting with integrity at all times.
· Identify problems as they arise with Line Manager.
· Provide day to day contact with client.
· Respond promptly to client requests, managing expectations in terms of speed and delivery of response, using appropriate briefing/admin structures.
· Work with Account Manager to ensure all jobs are scheduled on time and budget and monitor progress through the Agency (using appropriate admin recording procedures).
· Issue and distribute regular ‘work in progress’ reports internally and externally.
· Issue contact reports for key meetings and telephone conversations within 24 – 48 hours,
gaining Account Manager approval prior to distribution.
· Work with Account Manager to research and prepare background information for briefs/pitches/presentations.
· Develop an understanding of client’s business.
· Has the ability to build and improve on Client’s briefs to make them more relevant / inspiring to creative
· Builds client confidence by demonstrating an ability to creatively manage and deliver quality product, on time, on strategy and on budget

· Has a fresh view on things and is comfortable providing input and ideas and participating in team brainstorms
· Develops a solid understanding of integrated advertising skills and the power of effective advertising
· Able to present ideas with conviction
· Expected to monitor project plan every step of the way

· Keep appropriate records and audit trail of all jobs and all client communications and follow up billing process
· An unrivalled level of organization is expected so that all campaigns run efficiently, with other team members relying on project organization in order to meet deadlines and understand client expectations.

· Constantly supports his seniors to ensure their vision and plans are achieved, especially during pitches
· Is up to date with Social Media channels, including Client’s competitive set
· Has the basic knowledge of any social/digital technical requirements to be able to smoothly manage any media deliverables
· Effectively prioritizes all studio requirements, involving relevant creative team to ensure approval on significant artwork changes
· Maintains a systematic and efficient filing system
· Liaises with appropriate Financial Administrator to ensure accurate and timely billing, monitoring ongoing costs throughout individual Campaigns
Professional
· Is the ultimate project manager assistant; knows how to get it done. Is the go-to person for the execution of all advertising plans
· Has good knowledge and understanding of agency processes and the time required to complete each stage. Can formulate the implication of changes to budget and delivery timelines
· Displays a superior understanding of the needs of each department that will be involved in the execution of client projects. Provides key, relevant information to these departments in a timely manner
· Effectively fields questions from various departments pertaining to a brand/project, by demonstrating an understanding of client objectives, issues and requirements
· Proactively identifies opportunities to own and lead specific projects, and contribute to internal and external briefings and presentations
· Ensures all internal reporting process for his jobs are done in a timely manner:
o Job numbers
o Jobs closing
o Correct timesheet allocation
o Invoicing and financial process
Leadership

· Ability to solely handle medium sized campaign and assist on large scale projects
· Knows how to influence and lead creative teams
