Summary:  Daily responsibilities include the production scheduling of all printing presses and finishing equipment. Also included would be entering print jobs into the system for production. Understanding the impact of certain variables, including print production dates and printing of common colors is critical. Provide information to management concerning capacity and other variables.

 

Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Liaison between several departments: customer service, prepress and production.

  • Provide ship dates for all customer service reps when requested
  • Plan layout sheets
  • Designate presses and department
  • Tracking of print jobs
  • Ordering and inventory of raw material
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma; related experience in printing would be favorable.

Computer Skills:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficient computer skills and knowledge of Excel.
