What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an engaging and employee-focused Director, VLE Sales to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team.
The Director, VLE Sales is a senior sales leader responsible for driving growth across Very Large Enterprise (VLE) accounts. You will lead a team of highly skilled Strategic Account Managers focused on complex, global organizations. This role requires building and executing strategies that deliver against aggressive revenue targets while maintaining strong executive relationships.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, hire, coach, and manage a team of seasoned enterprise sales professionals.
- Own VLE Sales Strategy: Build and execute sophisticated sales strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals across global accounts.
- Pipeline and Forecast Management: Accurately manage and report on all aspects of pipeline and forecast for VLE accounts.
- Executive Engagement: Act as the front-line leader engaging with C-level executives to position Forescout as a strategic partner.
- Channel Collaboration: Work closely with global channel and technology partners to drive joint business opportunities.
- Opportunity Qualification & Risk Assessment: Ensure deals are properly qualified and risks mitigated.
- Solution Validation: Partner with delivery teams to validate technical solutions and ensure successful implementation.
- Value Proposition Development: Guide the team in crafting compelling business cases aligned to customer needs and critical business drivers.
- Lead Complex Negotiations: Drive negotiations for multi-million-dollar, global deals with complex terms and conditions.
- Resource Management: Proactively manage resources throughout the pursuit cycle and ensure seamless handoff post-sale.
What You Bring to Forescout

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years in quota-carrying enterprise sales roles with proven achievement.
- 8+ years of leadership experience managing direct reports in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- 5+ years in cybersecurity, networking, or SaaS industry.
- Demonstrated success influencing executive decision-makers within global organizations.
- Extensive experience negotiating large, complex deals with challenging terms and pricing.
- Proven ability to build strategic campaigns with channel and technology partners.
- Exceptional business development, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
- Ability to travel 30–50%.
