What You Will Do
This is a strong next step for a high‑performing HR Generalist looking to deepen their global, execution‑focused HR experience in a growing, international organization. In this role, you will support day‑to‑day HR operations for the Netherlands, with a primary focus on the engineering (R&D) organization, while collaborating closely with a dynamic and experienced global HR team.
You will play a pivotal role in executing a broad range of HR initiatives and projects, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes, programs, and ad‑hoc initiatives across the R&D organization. Working closely with HR colleagues, business leaders, managers, and employees across the globe, you will help ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of HR operations in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
In a typical day, you will be challenged and supported. You are encouraged to take ownership, work proactively, and bring a “go‑getter” mindset, while being mentored and partnered with senior HR professionals as you continue to grow your scope and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Netherlands HR Administration & Compliance
- Administer Dutch employment contracts, amendments, and related documentation
- Support sick leave and reintegration processes, including coordination with the company doctor and internal stakeholders
- Execute local onboarding and offboarding processes for NL employees, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and timely communications
- Maintain and support NL‑specific HR documentation, templates, and employee communications
- Ensure HR administration aligns with Dutch labor law requirements and internal policies, escalating complex cases to the HRBP as needed
Engineering & R&D People Support
- Provide day‑to‑day HR support to engineering managers and employees in the Netherlands
- Support employee lifecycle events, including role changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations from an administrative and process standpoint
- Support engineering workforce initiatives such as role mapping updates, org changes, and execution of global and local R&D people programs
- Act as a first point of contact for operational HR questions from engineering managers and employees, escalating strategic or sensitive topics appropriately
Cross‑functional & Process Support
- Partner with HR Operations, Payroll, Employee Success, IT, to ensure smooth execution of HR processes in the Netherlands
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and consistency in NL and engineering‑related HR processes
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity
- Support audits, reporting, and documentation requests related to NL employment administration
What You Will Bring To Forescout
Required Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a small- to-mid sized Tech/Startup company, supporting technical or engineering populations
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
- Solid working knowledge of Dutch employment practices and HR administration
- Experience in working cross multiple countries- strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities- a must
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and partner with managers in a fast‑paced engineering environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch a strong advantage)

Work Environment and Details :
- Modern office in the center of Eindhoven and adjacent to Tu/e, within short walking distance from the central station.
- Hybrid work model as per company policy in NL.
- Preferred- reside within a close distance to Eindhoven or are willing to travel to the office.
