We are looking for a passionate marketing professional to drive process, strategy, and recommendations around post-subscription retention opportunities as Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive lifecycle strategies aimed at engaging and retaining subscribers via owned channels including email, push notifications, website display and web push, in-app banners, landing pages, and more. Your mission will be to drive long-term engagement and loyalty among our subscriber base, thereby increasing our customer LTV and impacting the success of FloSports, overall.

This role will be based in Austin, Texas and will report to the Senior Director, Lifecycle Marketing.

  • Create and develop the customer lifecycle experimentation roadmap. Continuously test, learn, and improve our lifecycle strategy, identifying the most effective content and messages for different audiences, verticals, and channels, including email/CRM, in-app, push, on-site, and related platforms.
  • Conduct audience segmentation analyses and develop personalized marketing messages that can integrate with our existing engagement journeys.
  • Create new customer segmentation and campaign automation strategies.
  • Lead lifecycle and retention experimentation and measurement, and report on the impact to Marketing and business goals.
  • Implement all aspects of the owned channel email deployment process, from pulling audiences, uploading content, QA, launch, and monitoring email deliveries that drive incremental product usage and revenue.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of Lifecycle Marketing standard processes to help establish the Lifecycle function; owning end-to-end processes from strategy development to technical implementation, in partnership with external vendors and internal partners including Product, Engineering, BI, CS, and others.
  • Conduct post-experiment analyses and deep dives into channel performance and tests. Present recommendations and findings from test data.
  • Influence our overall Marketing content calendar through trends, insights and data from our inbound activities while supporting major events
  • Support copy and visual direction for personalized user journeys based on email channel standard methodologies and data-driven optimization

  • You love customers. Some would even call you, “customer-obsessed.” You love to learn what motivates them, how they think, and what they like.
  • You like technology. You are very familiar with marketing technologies and can ramp on the technical minutiae of our product quickly.
  • You are comfortable using data to inform your strategy. You’re confident in your ability to determine the success or failure of an initiative based on what the data says, and you know how to communicate that insight to your leadership and your team.
  • You know how to tailor a message for a specific audience. In fact, you might have had experience copywriting in a previous role.
  • You can foster an intellectually curious, data-driven culture for your team.
  • You are flexible and adaptable. You can navigate ambiguity. However, you also enjoy creating structures and processes in a rapidly growing organization.
  • You are self-motivated and constantly seek out ways to help find new efficiencies for you and your team.
  • You are a strong team player.

  • Consistent record of testing and scaling multi-channel campaigns with a high level of ownership and data affinity
  • Ability to work independently and experience prioritizing and managing multiple work streams
  • Proficient in data analysis and consumer audience insights, and able to connect them into business narratives
  • Deep knowledge of email and mobile messaging, including email deliverability, A/B testing, dynamic content, and responsive HTML/CSS design
