THE ROLE:
We’re currently seeking a Head of Growth to join our Marketing team. This role will be at the intersection of marketing, media, and brand. From performance marketing, paid media, social media strategy, influencer ideation, SEO tactics, and experimentation—you must be an expert at connecting all the dots when developing a strategy to drive awareness and acquisition across different customer segments and sports verticals. The Director will be responsible for setting and enabling all aspects of the strategic process for digital: developing the performance marketing budget model, setting KPIs and benchmarks, creating experimentation roadmaps and timelines, collecting feedback from internal stakeholders, and fostering a culture of cross-team collaboration. You will lead a growing team of marketers to develop best-in-class digital strategies for FloSports. The team will be measured on their ability to drive incremental opportunities for activation while improving CAC, ROI, and customer LTV through marketing campaigns, experiments, and stretch projects. The Director will be a key leader amongst the Marketing team, collaborating with other department leads to evolve FloSports’ digital marketing perspective and approach. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Growth Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead digital strategy and planning to drive awareness and acquisition growth for FloSports.
- Partner with Lifecycle, Product Marketing, and Customer Insights teams, as well as agency partners to to develop experiment roadmaps to optimize audience targeting, media placements, and messaging across all paid channels.
- Own and deliver reporting analysis on performance and business impact for digital campaigns, including ROI, CAC, and LTV.
- Be accountable for conversion efficiency across digital channels, including moving customers effectively from awareness to consideration to conversion stage.
- Guide, mentor and lead a team of talented digital media specialists, in addition to managing our agency relationships.
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong experience in media planning and driving differentiated strategies across multiple channels and audience segments.
- Deep understanding of programmatic media buying and experience with paid search and paid social media platforms.
- Skilled in audience insights, segmentation, persona targeting, and integrating propensity models.
- Experience in analyzing and reporting on digital media mix performance to a range of audiences, including marketing counterparts, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.
- Team management skills, including career development and coaching.
- Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally across marketing, internal stakeholders, and agency partners to launch successful tent-pole and bespoke digital marketing campaigns.
- Proven track record of driving scalable, sustainable audience growth through testing, measurement, and iteration frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years marketing experience with at least 4+ years of people management experience
- Experience building a high-impact team; growing the skills of a team, helping prioritize, motivate, and deliver results
- Proven ability to execute funnel testing roadmaps that optimize KPIs at each step of the funnel
- Experience defining audiences, markets, and targeting to optimize campaign performance and drive acquisition
- Thorough understanding of ad attribution and tracking
- Previous experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
- Proven success working cross-functionally with internal business partners, including product marketing, content, and data analytics teams
- Deep understanding of attribution methodologies and successful track record of measuring and delivering on performance targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting/speaking in front of senior leaders.
- Previous experience with other ad platforms such as TikTok Ads, Hulu Ads, and Apple Advertising is a plus
- MS/MBA in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science or related technical field is a plus
- Previous work history in tech, media, or sports is a plus
