FloSports is a world-class sports media company strategically positioned to be the essential destination for passionate sports fans, delighting them with live event coverage, breaking news, highlights, stats, rankings, and team and player profiles. We are growing Our Sports every day by continuing to invest in our ever-expanding ecosystem, which consists of over a dozen sport verticals and hundreds of streaming partners. FloSports is creating the home for sports like hockey, track & field, racing, grappling, wrestling, cheer and more, and we are looking for innovative and passionate people like you to help us!
THE ROLE:
FloSports is looking to bring on a Content Creator for FloRacing who is dedicated to our mission of providing fans the kind of sport-specific experience they deserve. The ideal candidate lives and breathes motorsports, has professional or extensive personal content creation experience, and is able to bring their innovative and impactful story ideas to life through written and video content with a heavy emphasis on social media and platform-specific content.
Candidates must be passionate about our motorsports communities, have a nose for compelling storylines, and understand how to grow their voice as an authority in these communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create impactful and high-quality social media and web content, both written and video, from the idea phase to publishing.
- Create compelling and platform-specific content that resonates with the target audience and maximizes engagement.
- Spotlight the top athletes and personalities in your sport with interesting stories.
- Travel around the world to lead amazing coverage of live events and/or stay plugged into them from afar with remote tools that allow you to capture clips and promote the biggest moments.
- Work with your team in content creation meetings, brainstorming to come up with strategies that grow and engage the community.
- Keep a pulse on the fans and key figures in the sport in order to constantly improve by eliciting and listening to feedback from your audience.
- Handle multiple content projects at once because you're a multi-tasking machine that can be relied on.
- Be a news hound by staying on top of every story and news item unfolding in track and field to ensure you provide comprehensive coverage to your readers.
- Be a social media influencer and help find other big social media entities who can help promote your content around the world.

- You are an authority on motorsports, and you’re obsessive about staying on top of the latest developments.
- You are a fantastic writer and editor. Grammar mistakes drive you crazy.
- You love the feeling of breaking news before anyone else, but you also understand that being right is more important than being first.
- You are organized. You know how to prioritize your time. You manage multiple projects with ease.
- You are creative and analytical. You enjoy coming up with unique takes on stories and refuse to do something that has been done before. You thrive on taking an idea and making it a reality.
- You're a social media savant with a strong understanding of major social media platforms, their unique features, and best practices for content distribution. You know how to develop creative and engaging social content that resonates in your community.
- You have a proven track record of creating engaging social media content and growing audience engagement.
- You work well with management, but you’re also capable of doing stuff on your own.
- You wake up each day looking for a win. You can't wait to create new ideas and then execute them to perfection. You are competitive and driven to be the best.

- You have a bachelor's degree from a four-year college in a related field.
